Meet Jesus

Hi! I'm glad you stopped by to learn more about Jesus.

Maybe your wondering how a child could forgive her birth Mom when she gave her up to be raised in an orphanage. Stopped coming to visit her.

Aija explained in her story that "it’s what Jesus did for me. He forgives us!"

Maybe you've done things that you can't even talk about. You feel such shame. How could God ever forgive you?

Brandi reminded us that, "forgiveness is free to all, and so is the hope of Heaven."

BUT GOD, loved us so much that ...

"He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

We condemn ourselves. Try to find ways to do more good than bad hoping that maybe we'll make it to heaven.

"For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him." John 3:17

Saved? Saved from what?

The penalty of sin. We have all sinned and the cost of our sin is death - eternal death.

"For the payoff (the end result) of sin is death..." Romans 6:23

BUT GOD made a way for us to be forgiven. His son, Jesus, came to earth, lived a sinless life and paid the price for our sin on the cross. He sacrificed (gave up!) His life for you - for everyone.

"...but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

So, how can I be saved and forgiven of all my sins?

",,,confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

Do you believe? You can be saved today. Stop now and pray. Prayer is simply talking to God. He is not concerned with your using the "right" words. He is waiting for you to come to Him just as you are.

This is an example of what you could pray:

"Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I invite you into my life to be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life."

"...and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
